The Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Makan Esbulatov on admission of documents

to the Master’s degree programme of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education for the year 2024

The rules of admission to the Master’s degree programme of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Esbulatov regulated by the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 24 from 13 January 2016 “On approval of the Rules of admission to special educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, implementing educational programmes of postgraduate education”.

Candidates with at least one year of practical work experience in the internal affairs bodies shall be admitted to the Master’s degree programme in the scientific and pedagogical direction.

Education in the scientific and pedagogical Master’s programme “7M12301 – Law Enforcement” and after successful graduation the degree of “Master of National Security and Military Affairs” would be achieved. The term of study is 2 years.

The Master’s programme in the profile area should be chosen by employees of internal affairs bodies who have the necessary business qualities and in the personnel reserve for promotion to higher managerial positions.

Education in the profile Master’s programme is carried out according to the double-diploma educational programme with the obtaining of the degrees “Master of Business and Management” in the educational programme “7M04112 – Project Management” and “Master of National Security and Military Affairs” in the educational programme “7M12302 – Law Enforcement”. Term of study – 1 year.

Admission is carried out on the basis of the state educational order. The form of education is full-time.

Personnel services send the following documents to the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Makan Esbulatov:

For candidates it is necessary to have:

1) the candidate’s personal file (after enrolment);

2) the candidate’s study file, which contains:

-report of the candidate for training in any form;

-service record and attestation sheet for the last period of service

-copy of the protocol of the selection commission on the assignment to study;

-copy of an identity document;

-copy of the certificate of passing foreign language tests (if any);

-personal record sheet;

-Six photographs of 3×4 centimetres;

-List of scientific and scientific-methodical works (if any).

Entrance examinations:

1) In a foreign language (English, German, French at choice).

2) On the profile of the group of educational programmes for those entering the Master’s programme

(in Almaty Academy) are conducted in the volume of educational programmes of the previous level of education in oral form.

Foreign language entrance examinations are conducted by the National Testing Centre of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the points of conducting foreign language entrance examinations determined by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Candidates with at least 30 points in foreign language shall be admitted to the examination on the profile of the group of educational programmes.

3) Interview.

It is not allowed to retake the entrance examinations.
