DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL EDUCATIONAL SUBJECTS THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN, OF THE ALMATY ACADEMY NAMED AFTER M. YESBULATOV
The Department of General Educational Subjects was established by the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 387 from May 10, 2023 and is part of the Faculty of Professional Training of the Academy.

The Department of General Education Subjects is the primary educational structural unit of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Makan Yesbulatov. It carries out educational, methodological, and research work in one or more related disciplines and conducts educational activities among students.
The department’s teaching workload includes the following disciplines assigned to the department and taught at the Faculty of Professional Training, Postgraduate Education, Training of the Administrative Staff, and others:
- Kazakh Language
- Russian Language
- Foreign Language
- History of Kazakhstan
- Philosophy
- Socio-Political Module (Sociology, Political Science, Cultural Studies, Psychology)
- History of Internal Affairs Bodies
- History and Philosophy of Science
- Foreign Language (Professional Focus)
Educational and methodical work includes a set of activities aimed at providing educational and methodical documentation, improving the pedagogical skills of the teaching staff, improving the quality of all forms, types and methods of teaching.
